Surface Preparation:

• Concrete and wooden surfaces should be clean free of dirt, grease and dust
• Treat smooth concrete with Berger Concrete Etching Solution, wash surface with clean water and allow to dry
• Remove flaking paint and old polish
• Prime floor boards with wood primer
• Treat resinous knots with Knotting Varnish

Application Procedure:

• Surface temperature must be between 50°-90°F
• Use a high quality 3/8 -1/2" nap roller cover nylon/polyester brush or airless sprayer. Spray tip  015 - 019"
• Stir occasionally
• Spread rate will depend on surface texture, porosity and application method
• Apply 2nd coat in the opposite direction
• No thinning required unless spraying
• Thin no more than 1/2 pint per gallon with water
• Certain colours may require more than 2 coats for complete hiding

Tips: When using the same paint with different batch numbers, intermix the paint from all containers to ensure colour and sheen uniformity.
