Berger Water-Based Floor Paint is a 100% pure acrylic, hard wearing, durable one-pack, floor paint designed to protect, seal and colour concrete and wooden interior and exterior floors. Suitable for application to all types of porous substrates, including wooden and concrete floors and exhibits excellent water resistance.

Surface preparation:

• Concrete and wooden surfaces should be clean free of dirt, grease and dust
• Treat smooth concrete with Berger Concrete Etching Solution Wash surface with clean water and allow to dry
• Remove flaking paint and old polish
• Prime floor boards with wood primer
• Treat resinous knows with Knotting Varnish

Application Procedure:

• Surface temperature must be between 50°-90°F
• Use a high quality 3/8 -1/2″ nap roller cover nylon/polyester brush or airless sprayer. Spray tip  015 – 019″
• Stir occasionally
• Spread rate will depend on surface texture, porosity and application method
• Apply 2nd coat in the opposite direction
• No thinning requires unless spraying
• Thin no more than 1/2 pint per gallon with water
• Certain colours may require more than 2 coat for complete hide

Tips: When using the same paint with different batch numbers, intermix the paint from all containers to ensure colour and sheen uniformity.
